New to the Podcast Meal Prep with Monica! The Making of a Smoothie

Have you ever had an idea you just could not wait to put into action!? This happens to me far to often but this is an idea I just could not turn away from.
So here's the deal. I LOVE cooking! I believe that healthy eating has very little to do with specific macronutrient ranges and way more about the behaviors associated with eating. This is actually a really good thing for everyone because it means that you don't have to diet to reach your health goals. I wrote a blog post about what I think that the number 1 piece of nutrition advice is a little while back. You can read it but i will tell you it's about cooking and meal prepping is just another term for cooking.
But how do you actually get people to cook? Give them recipes, show them pretty pictures of food. That's AL great and I will not stop doing that because every post is an opportunity to share real, solid, information with you guys. I just want to do something more. I want to help you cook and I can't be in the kitchen with you...
Well, actually I can. Sort of. And that is my idea! I want to be in the kitchen wtih you giving you instructions step-by-step on how to cook all the delicious meals you can find in the meal plans if you sign up for them and recipes I just post on my own you might want to try.
For example, I post a Recipe of the day almost every day. I lay out the ingredients, give some directions. But I want to make it even easier for you. That's why I am recording podcasts while I meal prep so that you can meal prep with me!
The first episode is The Making of a Smoothie. Yes, it's very simple. I basically throw some things in a Nutribullet and let it go. Not all of my recipes are this simple and you know, having a coach in your ears is pretty motivating! So think of me as a nutrition coach, motivating you, giving you step by step instructions while you are meal prepping in the kitchen.
I'll start the episode by sharing the ingredients I'm using, talk about some of the nutrition facts of the ingredients and be there with you every step of the way (well, it will just be my voice but you get the idea!).

I really hope you enjoy this type of Podcast. I will title them "Meal Prep with Monica" and then the Recipe Title so they are easy to find. They will be different from my other podcasts which are more about nutrition science research and other health and fitness tips!
I'll also share in these corresponding blog posts the Recipe name, Ingredients I used and equipment.
